School Uniform

Here at Hateley, we expect our parents to encourage their children to come in to school clean and tidy wearing the correct uniform. We believe that wearing a school uniform promotes equality and inclusion for all pupils, looks smart and is both practical and comfortable, makes a clear distinction between home and school, contributes to a sense of community and pride in our school and also promotes safeguarding, most importantly on school trips, by making our pupils easily identifiable when outside of the school grounds.

We highly encourage all parents to ensure their child's name is in all of their possessions which they bring in to school, including their uniform, lunch boxes and bags. This helps us to return any missing items to you if they should go missing and are found
